Hi! My name is Hide!
This time the Japanese culture to introduce is SAKURA!
Japanese people have special emotions on cherry blossoms.
In Japan, when the cherry blossoms come into the season, there are customs to do “HANA-MI”.
“HANA-MI” is to have a party under the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
Although some people make noise, some people quietly watch cherry blossoms.
A sight of “Hanami”
I came to “Kudanshita” famous for “HANA-MI”.
Cherry blossoms can be seen as soon as you exit the 2nd exit of Kudanshita Subway Station.
This is a part of the “Imperial Palace” where the Japanese “TEN-NOU” Emperor lives. In the past, it was a castle called “Edo castle”, so moats remain with its remnant.
Water surface and cherry blossoms are beautiful!
Japanese people and Cherry blossoms
There are reasons why Japanese have special feelings for cherry blossoms.
It is due to the color of the faint flowers and the fleeting flowers.
Cherry blossoms blooming like a dream and falling soon ….
Many japanese superimpose life on cherry blossoms and indulge in my emotions.
“KITANO-MARU” park
It is engraved on “Stone Park” and “Stone Monument”.
Go through the old gate and head for “KITANO-MARU” park.
There is no photograph, but there is a huge “BUDOU-KAN”.
“Budokan” is a martial arts stadium. A large concert will also be held here.
“sweet of the DANGO than flower”
Many people are holding banquets under the cherry blossoms in the park.
Some groups are crazy about banquet rather than cherry blossoms.
This is called “sweet of the DANGO than flower” in Japanese proverb.
“DANGO” Is a sweets that is transmitted to Japan since ancient times.
Another fun “YO-ZAKURA”
There is another fun in Japanese cherry-blossom viewing.
“YO-ZAKURA” is said and we see the cherry blossoms of the night.
Cherry blossoms are lighted up, it is a fantastic beauty.
Here you can also enjoy a boat at moat.
Finally, a message from Hide
This time I talked about Japanese “HANA-MI” culture.
“HANA-MI” is to have a party under the cherry blossoms.
“SAKURA-SAKU” means that cherry blossoms bloomed.
In Japan, when I pass the school exam, say “SAKURA-SAKU”.
Even when a difficult project is completed, say “SAKURA-SAKU”.
I pray for “SAKURA-SAKU” to me and your life!
